The Center for Community Engagement and Leadership Development (CCE) was established in September 2013.
The School of Health Technology and Management Center for Community Engagement and Leadership Development responds to needs in education, healthcare and social change by building relationships across Stony Brook University and the community.
- Goal 1. Community Engagement: Build and sustain community-University partnerships that respond to identified needs that further the CCE’s mission.
- Goal 2. Education Pipeline for the Allied Health Professions: Create education pathways for pre-college and college age students to pursue careers in the allied health professions.
- Goal 3. Research: Cultivate a community-University scholarship network grounded in best practices for community based participatory research.
- Goal 4. CCE Governance: Establish policies and procedures for the CCE.
